This project was as amusing as it was unexpected.
Amusing for it was designed for people that have known me for as long as I've been able to talk and walk. Amusing on a second account for many a dealer, at a first glance, assumed it was a big sapphire cabochon! (just try to imagine the colour)
And unexpected for I very seldom work with ornamental gems.
Nevertheless it has been a pleasure to search the rough, get it polished and design this impressive necklace!
We are now working on matching earrings and all I can say for now is: it will look stunning! So...
